I'm a freelance board game designer, specialising in games with simple rules, high interactivity, and emergent gameplay. I especially love card games.

I'm also a technology executive with over 20 years experience in augmented reality, optics, and displays. I've started and led technology development programs at North and Google.

I find a lot of similarities (and a similar sense of joy) between technology development and board game development. The idea for King Chocolate came from the manipulation I witnessed in multi-stage supply chains in the OLED display industry, but I thought making chocolate would be a more accessible theme.
